About Me

Hi! My name is Hailey and I’m 23 years old. In 2015 I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Fibromyalgia, Sjogren’s Syndrome, and Raynaud’s Phenomenon. This forced me to give up my 17- year soccer career, my 2 jobs, and most of my independence. I am currently in the middle of healing myself through holistic practices. I chose to start a blog so that I could give insight and tips to those who can relate to my situation on healing the body with the mind. I truly believe that illnesses are just imbalances within the body that can be cured through altering our perception and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. You can find tips on self healing and also posts about my experience living with a chronic illness. I’m not “mainstream” and I have a different way of thinking than most people my age, enjoy!

  1. Hi there Hailey, i saw that you liked my Kambo post and wondered if you would like some more info about it. I saw your ‘about me’ post and felt, if you wanted, that we could discuss this further. My wife suffered from Lyme disease for 10 years and her recovery might be of interest to you, so do feel free to get in touch… Take care, kind regards, Maq Umaqe – 07855448878 – info@sumaqhealing.com

      1. Excellent! Kambo has got some really amazing qualities that the medical world are just starting to realise. Nice to know they haven’t banned it! Happy days! Do check out Ayahuasca and San Pedro if ever you want to know more, just let me know. I will read some of your posts tomorrow and I wish you all the best. Take care!

  2. Hailey – thank you so much for the loving thoughts you left on my site (which I’ve neglected for way too long now) – and you , I have to say, are incredibly empowering. I, too, was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at an eerily young age of 17 and to think of the pain I’ve dealt with for so many years and the way that I shut down life in so many ways at times… and then I see what YOU were hit with at such a young age and you absolutely inspire me. We’re both on the journey of self healing/transformation together and I’ll be right here cheering you on. Love and light to you! Xo, Holly C

  3. Hailey, I just speed read all your posts. First, I’m so sorry you’re going through these trials and tribulations at a time in your life when you should be footloose and fancy free. What emanates from each post is that you don’t let your illnesses define you. You are amazing. You are strong. You are brave. And you are an inspiration to all who know you—in both the physical and digital domains. Thank you for being real.
